Fairy sighting

With the first roses in my garden...

And fairies will appear there too in November, managed to get through the vetting process of the "Spirit of Christmas" fair by House and Garden magazine. I have to confess i am slightly nervous about it, i am a tiny company...Just a crafter working on my own, and i am wondering if i am not going to feel lost in the middle of all the "big " ones. When i did the "christmas country living fair" in London 3 years ago, I realised we were just a handfull making christmas decoration entirely by hands, and it can be daunting to try to compete with the mass product imported stuff. When i sign the contract for stand space, i am always wondering what should i put in "postion in the company": owner? director? self employed person?
Or shall i say "doing all from paper work to cleaning"...I am not complaining though, all the decisions meetings are between myself and I !

  2. Congratulations! I think its wonderful that you are a small company..your work is excellent and original and delightful! If they offered you a license agreement would you do it? Have your designs created by the millions? would they still have those sweet expressions? I think not. It comes from your soul. So when filling in the blans you should proudly put: Designer & Owner! You Rock!

  4. Hi, I have just found your blog and I love your fairies.
I also live in France, not too far from you, I am in the Cote d'or area.
I had always been under the impression that a small company in France was financially almost impossible.
    Good luck to you
