Christmas fairs
I have left again a month pass without posting...As soon as I got back from London, I was on my way to set up my hometown christmas market stall in a chalet...The country living fair in London was lovely and I met nice people again, the very talented Claire from Elfie and me, and the lovely Cherry from Cherrymenlove.
It was a lovely trip, and I must have been british in another life, I just love british style, I am in love with their polka dots and their faded colour roses...and the fair was full of it.

Sweet indulgence
Just like a piece of cake is a sweet indulgence, I have been delighted to discover that the latest novel from Alexander Mc Call Smith will be published online from today, with a chapter every day. This will start my day brilliantly...I love serial novels, the way the intrigue and the character develops, and the icing of the cake is that the readers will be able to voice their wishes for the weeks to come...I suppose it is just like watching a soap, but with all the pleasure of the delightfull writing and the witty insight.

Ich spreche kein deutsche...

It really does take the biscuit !
I am awarding myself the worst blog award, I seem to never be able to find time to write a proper post...just rushing through things, I can find five minutes to do it but never ten...and I am ashamed of the state of my garden at the moment, so I will be either weeding or making fairies but not blogging.Oh! and I am feeling guilty about it, just like a little girl not doing her homework.Personal message to Ruby Begonias, I would like to talk to you but your comment doesn't link back to a blog , and I do not know how to contact you.

I feel like sleeping in a cabbage
I am working on different new fairies for baby christening. I have no enthusiasm at the moment, I am suffering from a very common infection that has affected many of my fellow crafters since the invention of the internet, The copycats (in my case they are all french, and they even copy the titles of my posts from my french blog, it feels like looking at yourself in a funny mirror). Well I suppose it is the downside of the internet, will resort to eating chocolate in front of the weekly rerun of Eastenders to cheer me up.

A winter heart
© Claudine Ponsard
The snow drops came out last week in my garden. And here is a heart that my mother painted. As long as i can remember, she always had a paint brush in her hand every single day . When i was 8 she gave up a very secure job to become a crafter...I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree ! She is the one who started selling my things when I was just 13 (I was very proud to get my own money then). So as a just return, i helped set up her shop on the internet.

Marie Claire Idées
Marie claire Idées may be a magazine that have just 4 issues a year (one per season), but they always have beautiful crafts projects. I know it is a french magazine, hence in french, so you may wonder why I post about it here, but i noticed quite a lot of english speaking people love their pictures as well as we do in France. This month the magazine launched their blog, so yes it is in french (pity they don't translate it!) but you can still click on the links they give you, and at the moment they are showing a beautiful photo gallery of crafts room...
